Givvy — Spring Boot Item Exchange Platform

A fully functional Spring Boot backend built with JPA, developed collaboratively as part of a Backend Programming course. Givvy is a community exchange platform that lets users create accounts, post items for donation, express interest in available items, and coordinate exchange appointments between donors and recipients.

My Contributions

I owned the features that drive the core exchange workflow:

• Interest & offer matching — the logic allowing users to express interest in items and donors to offer items, forming the matches that power exchanges.
• Dynamic appointment scheduling — a flexible system for coordinating exchange appointments between parties.
• End-to-end testing — a thorough test suite covering these workflows from request to persistence, validating the full behavior of the features I built.
